Budweiser Launches “Track Your Bud”

Starting today, if you have a Budweiser in your hand, you can see where, how and who was responsible for brewing that very beer. It’s possible through a new national Anheuser-Busch digital program called “Track Your Bud,” which allows consumers to trace the origins of a bottle of Bud from the farm to the brewery to their hands and meet the Brewmaster responsible for it.

By using their smartphones to scan the QR codes on Budweiser packaging, downloading the free “Track Your Bud” app, or visiting www.trackyourbud.com, adult beer lovers can learn all there is to know about the Bud in their hands and get a behind-the-scenes look at all facets of the beer-making process, such as where their beer’s hops and barley came from, the exact brewery where it was made, and the process that created the Budweiser they’re about to enjoy.

Wouldn’t it be nice if they could do the same thing with your new “Special Lady”??

Product Review: Joe Horn’s Bayou 87 BBQ Sauce

During his playing career, Joe Horn was an electrifying receiver who made play after play even though opposing defenses were keyed in on him week after week. Horn became a fan favorite during a career which saw him set the Saints career mark in touchdowns and make the Pro Bowl four times in five seasons. But what the fans loved even more than his production was the way he played and fought for every inch every time he had the ball.

Horn has now translated that love of football into a love of another gridiron- the one in your backyard via his new BBQ sauce Joe Horn’s Bayou 87 BBQ Sauce. And this isn’t a product marketed by a famous person that isn’t any good- you don’t even need to know who Joe Horn is to like this sauce. Read the review here.

Check out Joe Horn’s Bayou 87 BBQ Sauce at http://www.joehornbbq.com/. And follow Joe on both Twitter (@JoeHorn87) and on Facebook. Joe answers all Tweets he receives and does as much on Facebook as he can, a point that Joe emphasized.

“People ask me all the time on Twitter if this is the “real” Joe Horn. And I tell ‘em the same thing every time: 6-1, 212 pounds of twisted steel with sex appeal. It’s your boy HOLLYWOOD 87!!”

Ear Hair- Be GONE

This happens to me every few months and I am compelled to write about it. I intereacted with a man today in a public seeting, where his very public ear hair took center stage. The circumference of his ear hair nearly overtook his entire ear, and completely obscured his “ear hole”.

I don’t usually scope dudes’ “ear holes”, but this was obscene. So with this seemingly unwitting dude in mind, I present to you a few low cost ear trimmers that are completely worth what you spend, even if you only use it once.

Come on gents, we’re the first mammal to wear pants.

Best Super Bowl Haircut – Tiquan Underwood

I don’t know what I like better- the Hi-Top Fade, or the Patriots logo shaved into the back of his head. Underwood, listed at 6-1, is closer to 6-6 with his hair.

The only thing cooler would be if Tom Brady rocked a Patriots logo on his dome. But we all know, Giselle wouldn’t allow it.

BarberShopBlog prediction- Patriots 34, Giants 20. Tom Brady wins and may be the best QB ever.

Flacco’s Facial Hair- Cooler If Tom Brady Wore It?

 m

Heading into Sunday’s AFC championship which the Ravens would eventually lose, starting QB Joe Flacco had been catching a lot of “flak” about his moustache. Erroneously reported as a “Handlebar Moustache” by numerous NFL TV experts (Rollie Fingers had to be furious), Flacco was actually sporting a “Fu Manchu” during the Ravens playoff run.

As a man, it’s important you know the difference. The “Fu Manchu”, while similar to the “Handlebar” is different because the Fu Manchu is grown only from the upper lip, whilst the sides remain clean shaven.

So it begs the question- if Tom Brady started sporting one, would it suddenly become “cool”?
