The Shaving Helmet

The latest viral video making its way around the web debuts an invention known as the Shaving Helmet. As you can see in the video above, it’s a helmet that shaves your head. Pretty cool, right?

Well, maybe. It’s not entirely clear whether the video is real or not. The test subject doesn’t stay on camera for the entire shave, not to mention the logistical problems like ears and head shape. What do you think – real or fake?

It’s Time To Transfer Your Vinyl To CDs

There may not be many of us out there that actually remember a time before digital files came into our lives. It seems that it has only been the last decade and a half that world of technological advances has seemingly exploded.

We can chat online with our friends and family around the world with just a click of a button. We can share our photos without having to wait for them to be returned from the photo processing facilities. We share information and files on an almost instant basis using programs like File zilla and Ares p2p.

One of the greatest advances is audio technology. No longer are we stuck with poor sound quality or having to struggle to place audio into our video files. We can even take those old vinyl records, record them, clean up the pops and scratches and record them to digital CDs.

One such program that allows users to do this is Audacity. This program is designed to record and edit audio. It is a free software program developed by the Open Source community. Because of its open source development background this program is available to anyone free of charge. It is also available on numerous computing platforms including Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.

Users of Audacity have the ability to:

-Take vinyl records or audio tapes and convert them to CD format
-Edit audio files in Vorbis, MP3, AIFF or Ogg formats
-Splice, mix, copy or cut audio files as desired
-Perform live audio recordings
-Dub existing tracks
-Record in a multi track format
-Change an audio files pitch
-Adjust file volumes
-Use effects such as reverse, wah-wah, echo and more

With Audacity you can now take all those vinyl records and transfer them to CD and not have to worry about finding a turntable!

Bullz-Eye interviews “Middle Men” actress Jesse Jane

Jesse Jane interview.

The movie “Middle Men” just hit DVD and as part of the release, the studio recruited pornstar Jesse Jane, who makes a very brief appearance in the film, to do some interviews. Bullz-Eye had a chance to chat with her over email last week.

Here’s an excerpt from the interview:

BE: I saw the movie, and the sequences with the porn stars are cut pretty quickly, but I’m sure I saw you in the Vegas scene posing next to Luke Wilson, and getting a couple of lines. Did I miss anything else?

JJ: No that was it, just a small cameo part which was fun to shoot.

BE: How many days did you spend on the set?

JJ: I literally flew into Vegas, shot that day, and left the next morning.

BE: Did you have any personal dealings with the people the movie is based on?

JJ: No. The Internet thing started when I was still in school, so I’ve never met any of the guys that this movie is based on.

BE: Is there any of yourself in the Audrey Dawns character?

JJ: Actually no, I didn’t sleep with people to get ahead. I was just good in bed (Laughs), but I’ve never mixed business relationships with my personal relationships; that just never ends good.
