Auto Review: BMW 1 Series M Coupe

2012 BMW 1 Series M Coupe Front

From the minute the original BMW M3 came out it was one of the sleekest looking, best handling cars I’d ever driven. The M3’s engine was made for high speeds and swerving through urban or interstate traffic. The newest version, the 1 Series M Coupe, is now available for public consumption.

Unlike most souped-up engines, this BMW 3.0-litre straight-six is just there, murmuring gently, ready for the call in any gear and at any speed. This extraordinary, turbine-like urge is not at all like the old M3, with its hot cams and whirring chain drive, yet the M Coupé’s revs will climb to an astonishing 7,000rpm before the limiter cuts in. Your first overtaking manoeuvre is so ridiculously easy it’s hard not to laugh.

The Faux Hawk Won’t Die

null
Did anyone really believe the “Faux Hawk” would subsist this long? I remember the first time I saw it back in 2003 and at that time any person utilizing the style was subject to a lot of ridicule; it was like a built in cock (rooster) joke. But once David Beckham started rocking it, it spread like wildfire in a heavily wooded area thanks to a cigarette being flippantly discarded.
A quick description;

A variation of the “Mohawk” hair style. Hair is worm longer down the middle of the head and usually spiked with gel. Contrary to the traditional “Mohawk” style, hair is not shaved completely on the sides of the head.

Since it isn’t going anywhere, and thanks to the magic of the internet, you can give yourself a faux-hawk and watch the ladies swoon as if you were Jake Gyllenhaal.

Bullz-Eye reviews the 2011 Audi S5 Cabriolet

2011 Audi S5 Cabriolet

Bullz-Eye got behind the wheel of the 2011 Audi S5 Cabriolet for another review. Audi is known for producing absolutely top quality vehicles, but plenty of manufacturers stumble when they turn a sedan into a convertible. You’ll be happy to hear that the S5 Cabriolet managed to retain the soul of the original while still adding the fun of an open top.

Here’s an excerpt from the review:

The combination of the brilliant red paint and black soft top on our test model 2011 Audi S5 quattro Auto S-Tronic Cabriolet gave a first impression of both class and sport. The 19-inch, double-spoke alloy wheels, high performance tires and dual exhaust with quad tailpipes set the tone for a fun drive. Although hardtop convertibles are all the rage, Audi chose to stick with a fabric roof. The ragtop has classic appeal and folds down in a segment-leading 15 seconds at speeds up to 30 miles per hour. The sharp lines, distinctive front end and sculpted body makes a statement of refinement and luxury. The single frame grille, large air intakes and memorable headlights make an unforgettable impression. Those Audi signature daytime running lights are just the beginning of an intelligently designed 2011 Audi S5 quattro Auto S-Tronic Cabriolet.

Vaseline Men – Product Review

Vaseline MEN was kind enough to send us some samples at Bullz-Eye and we must say they are on to something here! Vaseline MEN is no greasy body and face lotion that is made for us guys. We tested the Vaseline MEN Fast Absorbing Body and Face Lotion in a large 24.5oz pump blue container and will run you around $5 or $6. Most us don’t realize that men’s skin is thicker and more oily than women’s so Vaseline produced the Men’s line for men’s unique skin needs. I noticed that Vaseline Men’s is fast absorbing, non-greasy and doesn’t have you walking away with some flowery scent. Alot of guys stay away from lotion because of the greasy feel afterwards but you can “get moisturized” without the slippery feeling with Vaseline Men Fast Absorbing Body & Face Lotion.

You also probably noticed some of the Vaseline MEN’s ads with former NFL star defensive lineman Michael Strahan. Well, if you’re reading this in time, check out our contest where you can win a signed Michael Strahan football and check out the Keep your Grip Challenge Game where you can win a grand prize trip to Las Vegas for 4 friends!
