‘The male makeup capital of the world’

South Korea has become the “male makeup capital of the world.” South Korean men spent $495.5 million on skincare last year, accounting for nearly 21 percent of global sales.

“I can understand why girls don’t like to go outside without makeup — it makes a big difference,” said Cho Gil-nam, a tall, stocky 27-year-old insurance fraud investigator in Seoul who starts important days by dabbing on makeup after finishing his multistep morning cleansing and moisturizing routine. He carries a multicolored cosmetics pouch so he can touch up in public bathrooms throughout the day.

American men- would this ever happen here, in the good old US of A?

Product Review: Schick Hydro 5 Power Select

I’m not going to screw around here, guys. The Schick Hydro 5 Power Select razor was the best razor I have ever used. I could seriously just end the review right there.

For me, the most sensitive area is where my mustache would be if I could grow one (if I were a man), i.e. the area right below my nose, above my upper lip. I anticipate this will be a painful exercise literally every time because it has been for about 15 years- the only way to numb the pain was to load up on high quality shaving cream (or whiskey) and have at it.

But with the Hydro 5, I glided over that area with absolutely no problem, and almost no friction- I couldn’t believe how well it worked. The combination of slight vibration of the razor with the ridiculous amount of “blade-age” left me with mouth agape in amazement.

Doug Flutie Waxes Poetic About The Time He Screwed Brother Darren

This past Labor Day weekend Dove launched a new ad with Doug Flutie and brother Darren talking about how they were both up for an MVP award of a game in college versus Holy Cross and Doug eventually “stole” the award from Darren on a technicality.

Dove is killing it with this whole “comfortable in your own skin campaign”. But not as awesomely as that one time Doug converted a drop kick extra point attempt, the first successful conversion attempt since a week after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

John Elway is The New Starting QB For Dove Skincare Products

John Elway is starring in a new three part series for Dove Skincare products about “being comfortable in his own skin.”

The three different pieces cover his famous walk, “The Play” versus Cal and his atrocious dancing ability that he uses to embarrass his kids.

Even if you don’t like John Elway, these ads relaxed and cool, which I’m’ assuming is how Dove wants you to think you will feel after using their products.
