More and more old school barbershops are sprouting up all over America! When Steven Pierce’s skate shop, Honor Studint, wasn’t working out, he decided to close it up and open an old school barbershop in its place. His shop was recently featured at napavalleyregister.com.

Outside the barbershop facing Main Street is a shoeshine bench and a faux barbers pole.

“This (shop) is a tribute to my granddad, Elmer Giest, who has had a barbershop for 60 years in Vallejo. And he is still cutting hair, Pierce said.

At his new place, The Executive Room in Napa Valley, Pierce greets customers wearing a neck tie. Now that’s old school. Haircuts start at $16 and Shaves are $24 with no appointment needed so the next time your in Napa Valley stop in and check this one out and let us know your thoughts!
